Your Library Card

Who can get a card

Area residents with a driver's license may get a library card.  The driver's license must have the current address.  Minors are allowed to get library cards as well.  A parent or guardian will need the present their driver's license.  There is no charge for the original library card.

How to Get Your Card

To get a library card, present your driver's license with current address to the library staff and fill out the form with your name, address, and phone number.  The information will be entered into the computer and a library card will be made.

Borrowing Limits

Books, audio books, and puzzles are on loan for two weeks.  Movies and dvds are on loan for one week.  Five books/audio books and 3 movies/dvd's are allowed per library card.

Items may be renewed in person or by phone (903-897-2964) unless the item has been placed on reserve.

Library Fines

Library fines for books, audio books, and puzzles are 25 cents a day.  Movies and dvds are $1.00 a day.  The fine cap is set at $15.00 per item.  Patrons are given opportunities a couple of times a year to either return items and have fines forgiven or to bring canned goods to erase fines.  Patrons may also volunteer to work off their fines.
